The Kapten & Son Norva 2in1 Shopper is a big, soft tote of 23 litres with a different colour on each side; here, black and sand.

Sand side out, its full-width zipped pocket is on the outside. Turn the bag inside out, black side out, and the same pocket opens inside. The handles don't change. It goes on the shoulder or in the hand, and hangs from a pram handlebar by its two handles. 42 × 52 × 14 cm, 0.4 kg, water-repellent, vegan.

What changes when I turn it inside out?

The colour, and the place of the pocket. Sand side out, the zipped pocket is on the outside; black side out, it opens inside the bag. The handles stay the same, and each side has its logo.

Does it close?

The main compartment stays open, for quick access. Keys, phone and cards go in the zipped pocket.

Can I hang it on a pram?

Yes: its two handles go over the pram handlebar. There is no clip or dedicated strap, and no changing mat or nappy pockets.

What fits inside?

23 litres: a book, a water bottle, a lunch box, a jumper, and the phone and the keys in the zipped pocket. There is no laptop sleeve.

Is it rainproof?

The fabric is water-repellent: rain beads off. The top stays open, so it isn't made for a downpour.

Care

Lukewarm water and mild soap on a cotton cloth, then let it air-dry. Never in the washing machine, never with chemical cleaners.
