The Kapten & Son Lund Sleek Full PU is a city rolltop with a smooth, soft finish, made for the commute and the office.

The roll closes with a strap and an engraved hook, over a zip that runs across the opening. Against the back, a padded sleeve takes a MacBook up to 16 inches; on the edge of the back, a vertical anti-theft zip pocket; and a strap slides over the suitcase handle. 41 cm high rolled, 52 cm unrolled, 38 × 14 cm, 16-18 L, 0.8 kg, water-repellent, vegan, limited edition.

Does my laptop fit?

The padded sleeve measures 36 × 26 cm: a MacBook up to 16 inches fits, with 4 mm to spare for the 16, and so does a 15-inch laptop. A 15.6-inch PC is borderline: check that it is no wider than 36 cm.

Isn't a rolltop a pain to open?

Unhook the strap, unroll, and the zip under the roll opens wide. For what you take out often, the anti-theft pocket on the back opens without unrolling.

Is it rainproof?

The smooth PU finish is water-repellent: rain beads off. It isn't made to be submerged.

Can it go in the cabin?

Even unrolled, 52 × 38 × 14 cm fit within a 55 × 40 × 20 cm cabin bag allowance. At 38 cm wide, it is too wide for the under-seat sizes.

How much does it hold?

16 to 18 litres depending on how far you roll it: a 16-inch MacBook, a notebook, a lunch box and a water bottle.

Care

Lukewarm water and mild soap on a cotton cloth, then let it air-dry. Never in the washing machine, never with chemical cleaners.
