The Kapten & Son Bali Pro is the travelling Bali: it opens from the front, from the top and from the back.

The front panel opens all the way onto a main compartment split by a divider; the top compartment can join it with one flap; and a padded sleeve in the back takes up to a 15.6-inch PC or a 16-inch MacBook. A pocket for wet things, an anti-theft pocket, two bottle holders, a chest strap and a strap for the suitcase. 50 × 29.5 × 16 cm, 1.5 kg, water-repellent, vegan.

Does my laptop fit?

Kapten & Son rates the back sleeve for a 15.6-inch PC or a 16-inch MacBook; at 40 × 25 cm, a MacBook Pro 16 fits with 2 mm to spare. The inner sleeve, 35.5 × 23 cm, takes up to a 14-inch laptop.

Bali Pro or Bali Medium?

Same look. The Bali Medium is the everyday version, 1.1 kg. The Bali Pro adds a second laptop sleeve in the back, a divider, a wet pocket, two bottle holders and a chest strap, for 1.5 kg.

Can it go in the cabin?

Kapten & Son rates it as hand luggage: at 50 × 29.5 × 16 cm it fits the 55 × 40 × 20 and 55 × 35 × 25 cm allowances. At 50 cm tall, it does not go under the seat.

Is it rainproof?

The fabric is water-repellent: rain beads off. It isn't made to be submerged.

Care

Lukewarm water and mild soap on a cotton cloth, then let it air-dry. Never in the washing machine, never with chemical cleaners.
