Db · Ramverk Pro Sling Bag 24L

Ramverk Pro Sling 24L: a 16-inch laptop and your whole day, worn cross-body.

The Db Ramverk Pro Sling 24L is a 24-litre sling bag that takes a 16-inch laptop in its padded pocket. Its gussets open out when you need more room. The two-way zip opens from the left or the right, and a hidden pocket keeps your keys and memory cards safe.

Office · Commute · City

From the underground to the office, laptop and water bottle on one shoulder.

Man hurrying through an underground corridor, Ramverk Pro Sling Bag 24L Black worn cross-body

Laptop

A 16-inch laptop in a sling.

The laptop pocket is padded and kept apart from the rest. The water bottle rides in the elastic side mesh pocket, the small things in a zipped mesh pocket inside: the working day fits in one bag, on one shoulder.

Up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro

Ramverk Pro Sling 24L Black open: a laptop against the back wall, a water bottle, notebook and pens in the mesh pockets

The Ramverk system

With the S insert, it becomes a camera sling.

Ramverk Pro Sling Bag 24L Black from the front, asymmetric shape and padded strap

Its asymmetric shape is designed around the S camera insert.

✓ Compatible · not sold by Eiken

Camera Insert S

7 L, sold separately. The only insert stated for this bag; Eiken doesn't sell it.

✕ Not intended

Camera Insert M

Not stated for this bag: it fits the Ramverk Pro 26L and 32L.

View the Ramverk Pro 26L

Ramverk is the name for Db's inserts and sleeves, which move from one bag to another. The 16-inch pocket is built in, so no sleeve is needed.

In the rain

Nothing stated against rain: in a downpour, shield the laptop.

Light rain

Coated fabric

The fabric sheds water; seams and zips let it through over time.

Shower

Coated zips

Both fabric and zips shed water. The seams, though, aren't taped.

Proper rain

Taped seams

Fabric that keeps water out, seams taped over. The zips remain the weak point.

No water rating is published for this bag: for a whole day in the rain, use a rain cover.

Eiken's take

Why we chose it: For journeys where a backpack is too much: your back stays free, and the 16-inch laptop comes out without putting the bag down.
Worth knowing: 24 litres and a 16-inch laptop on one shoulder: for a long day on foot, a backpack is kinder to your back.
Who it's for: People who commute with a laptop and prefer a cross-body bag to a backpack.

Baptiste, Eiken
