The structure

The same structure as the bigger Huggers.

  • Rib Cage. ABS ribs, patented, replace the thick padding on the front panel.
  • It holds its shape, even empty. It doesn't slump in on itself, and it protects what's inside.
  • Not a hard shell. The ribs take everyday knocks; a hard impact is still a hard impact.

Even small, it opens right to the bottom.

The zip runs all the way round the bag. A mesh pocket in the lid holds cables; the top pocket, glasses and phone.

On easyJet, yes: 45 × 27.5 × 19.5 cm, within its 45 × 36 × 20 cm limit. On Ryanair, Transavia, Vueling or Air France, no: their under-seat limit stops at 40 cm tall, so it counts as cabin baggage. Check your airline.

Hugger 20L: what about rain?

The Hugger 20L handles light rain: its exterior protects against light rain and everyday wear. For a whole day in the rain, use a rain cover.
