The GRID Expandable Tote Bag is a 29-litre Sandqvist tote weighing 420 g, in water-resistant recycled ripstop nylon. In the morning it's 10 cm deep, with your laptop and notebook inside. In the evening, you open the two side zips and it grows to 22 cm, enough for the food shop or your gym kit. Carry it by hand, on the shoulder or crossbody.

Is the GRID Tote waterproof?

No, it's water-resistant: the fabric copes with light rain and everyday splashes. In steady rain, water eventually gets through; a pouch for anything that mustn't get wet is all you need.

Does the GRID Tote fit under the seat on a plane?

No: at 50 × 48 cm, it's bigger than the free under-seat bag (40 × 30 × 20 cm on Ryanair, 45 × 36 × 20 cm on easyJet). As a cabin bag, its 48 cm width is also over Ryanair's 40 cm and Air France's 35 cm. Size limits checked in October 2026: check with your airline.

GRID Tote or GRID Expandable Crossbody?

The Crossbody, 28 cm tall and 9 litres (13 with the zips open), expands in width and is mostly worn crossbody. The Tote, 50 cm tall and 29 litres, takes a 16-inch laptop and can also be carried by hand.
